SOUTH CHURCH TOUR

Whilst the heart of the city really is in Essen city centre with the cathedral, there are some beautiful churches which are steeped in history and are architecturally impressive in the southern part of Essen too. This tour takes you on a route, which is around 42 kilometres long, from the Erlöserkirche via Werden old town to the Auferstehungskirche in the south-eastern part of the city.
