After breakfast, we recommend a visit to our "Versailles Palace", although here it is called Villa Hügel and is the largest single-family home in Germany! The former ancestral home of the Krupp family is not only an extremely imposing villa with unique photo motifs inside and out, you can also enjoy a sensational view of the beautiful Baldeneysee in the incomparable park. From Villa Hügel you can either take the train or a bike to the trendy district of Rüttenscheid to marvel at the retro bikes or to the southern district around Isenbergplatz. With its small boutiques, second-hand shops and good restaurants, there's always something going on there. Just let yourself drift - you won't regret it!
