Inter­national Christmas Market Essen

Important information for coach tour operators:
You can let your passengers off at the long-distance bus station on the south side of Essen's main railway station and let them on again for the return journey. From there, your guests will travel through the main station directly to Willy-Brandt-Platz with the first part of the Christmas market and on through the pedestrian zones to Kennedyplatz with the central market area and the Limbecker Platz and Rathaus Galerie shopping centres.

To help visitors find their way around, an overview map with the range of goods on offer at the Christmas Market is available at the Tourist Info, Kettwiger Straße 2-10 from Monday to Friday from 10 am to 6 pm and Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm or directly at the Christmas market. The central bus parking area is located on Berthold-Beitz-Boulevard in the area between Frohnhauser Straße and Altendorfer Straße. A sufficiently large number of designated parking spaces are available here on the shoulder of the road.

On Saturdays and Sundays, buses can also be parked on the right-hand side of Schwanenkampstraße, which is close to the city centre.
