Four seasons come to Essen’s green centre at once, courtesy of the Essen Light Festival. The entire area along the pond is bathed in extraordinary light. Fountains create a festive mood, accompanied by four musical works by Olaf Oebels. Each of the “seasons” takes on its own aura, encouraging visitors to let their minds and feet wander.
