The precise light sculptures in perfect proportions, light and yet strongly conceptualised, remind us of paper aeroplanes from our childhood, a time of lightness and the urge to discover. It is precisely this lightness that the Romanian artist Silviu Ciora wants to remind us of with his light installations, each three metres long, and he has created fascinating, somewhat futuristic-looking light sculptures. His works borrow from the sculptors of the so-called concrete art of the 20th century, whose main focus is on pure geometric forms and physically simple scientific relationships.
