Nothing is as free, honest and imaginative as children's views and ideas of the world. For Imagine, the artist couple Daniel and Carina Kurniczak from Essen asked children to create drawings and pictures on the theme "Garden of Imagination" in the run-up to the Essen Light Festival via a call by the Funke media group. At the festival, the numerous and very different pictures of the children will now be further artistically animated and projected onto the facade. For the unique visualisations, music was composed especially to accompany the children's individual pictures and scenes sound-wise and turn them into an overall performance.
