Essen Light Festival

Discover the Magic of Light

#3 | Circle of Equality | interactive light installation

Janis Petersons, Latvia

The "Circle of Equality" is a walkable, illuminated circle in which all people have equal rights and can feel safe and free from judgement and social pressure. Especially in such special times as these, it was important to Latvian Janis Petersons to create a work of art that connects and unites people. In addition to the warm light, pleasant background music also ensures that visitors feel comfortable and relaxed. The "Circle of Equality" celebrates its premiere in Essen.
