Galerie Frank Schlag & Cie.

Gallery for Art after 1945

Galerie Frank Schlag & Cie. was founded in Düsseldorf in early 1998 and is a member of the German Federal Association of Galleries. In August 2001, it moved to the heritage-listed front building of the former Gut Hackenberg in Essen. Numerous exhibitions were presented there over the course of 16 years, and we look back on them fondly. A new chapter was set to begin in December 2017, which is why Galerie Frank Schlag & Cie. can now be found at Teichstraße 9 in the center of Essen. The gallery presents contemporary art from Europe, China, Japan, and Australia in the fields of painting, sculpture, photography, and printmaking. Contemporary painting from Germany and China is the focus of the gallery’s work.
