IG Bahnhof Kettwig e.V.

A thriving civic and cultural centre has been established in the reception building of the listed railway station in Essen-Kettwig, thanks to a community initiative and support from the city and local businesses. The centre is successfully run by local residents as a registered association. The “Alter Bahnhof Kettwig” has three multifunctional performance venues. Its varied cultural programme ranges from cabaret and concerts to readings, each presented in a range of formats.
