Krupp Family Home
This is where the story of the Krupp family’s industrial rise in Essen began. The original foreman’s house of the Krupp factory, built in 1818, later became the residence of the industrialist family.
After its destruction in the war, it was faithfully reconstructed in 1961. Today, it houses a small collection of exhibits about the Krupp company and family and can be visited as part of guided tours.
