Mineral Museum

Fossil hunting and a dinosaur party—both are possible at the Mineralien-Museum.

The Ruhr Museum’s outpost is especially popular with families, as explorers young and old can discover everything from the stuff of stars to the crystalline world within us. Admission is free, and the permanent exhibition, which reopened in 2018, can be visited Tuesday to Sunday in the old, listed school building on Kupferdreher Straße.
