“Am Hallo” sports park

As the venue for the archery qualification rounds, the green surroundings of Sportpark Am Hallo hit the mark. Located five kilometers northeast of Essen city center, the “Am Hallo” athletics stadium was completed in 2001 and offers a comprehensive range of facilities for sports enthusiasts, including a six-lane 400-meter track and an eight-lane 100-meter track, athletics facilities, and a grass pitch for American football. With seating and standing room for 3,800 spectators, the stadium is the regular home of Essen athletics team LT Stoppenberg e.V. and American football team Assindia Cardinals. But bows and arrows are nothing new here: the European Archery Championships were already held at the venue in 2024.
