Stadion an der Hafenstraße

The home matches of the men’s team of football club Rot-Weiss Essen and women’s football club SGS Essen take place at the stadium on Hafenstraße in Essen’s Bergeborbeck district.

Around 20,000 spectators can be accommodated in this new stadium, built in 2013 to replace the Georg Melches Stadium. In addition to football matches, the stadium on Hafenstraße also hosts concerts by acts including Die Fantastischen Vier, Broilers and KISS.
