Unperfekthaus
A truly unique artists’ village that’s an absolute must-see, spread across 5,000 sq m. It features a restaurant, rooftop terraces, hangout areas and coworking spaces, as well as what is probably the largest art gallery for miles around. A popular venue for group events, get-togethers, birthdays, weddings and company celebrations, it also offers overnight accommodation—for example, at the “WG-Hotel”, with its own sauna and kitchen and room for up to 12 people, or at the Coworking-Hotel, with business double and single rooms.
Das Unperfekthaus is one of the Ruhr region’s major meeting places and received the 2007 Culture Award, along with other honors. Anyone can start their own projects or regular meetups here, get involved themselves, and do more than just consume.
Open daily (except on public holidays in North Rhine-Westphalia). With an affordable admission fee that includes unlimited hot and cold drinks, you can spend the whole day at Das Unperfekthaus working, learning, relaxing, and attending public events.
